Work is busy. Ironic that it’s slowing way down with winter here. The funny thing is management complains we don’t have enough staff yet they just laid 3 people off. It was mostly the part timers so I’m not concerned. Any ways I scored GT3 for $2.50 today, it was good.

I played a lot of that...
We have layoffs coming in February - gonna be great... Nearly all of our financial processing will be done overseas by 3rd party contractors. No security concerns there, eh? Global economy, etc.

Fixed the bug I’ve been chasing for a few weeks and found out I don’t need to implement that crazy-ass customer request. Decided to stop being such a cheap-ass and sprung for the HF flare nut wrenches, which
broke the Volvo’s fuel filter loose after a few weeks of trying
and failing)
with
that shitty Husky adjustable
. Also bought an OEM-replacement
negative
battery cable instead of trying to rig-up a generic unit with shitty crimps
.
Less good is me not getting that job I was angling for. Would have brought with it a nice pay increase and relocation to a prime area. Guess I will have to improve myself a little more first.

My work depends on contractors, so it makes sense that winter is slow. I have played GT4 for about 14 years, & decided to try GT3.

I always wondered what the cover car in GT3 was supposed to be...

GT3 was IMHO the best in the series. Okay, maybe 5 was the best. But 3 was the biggest jump physics and graphics wise.
Regardless, i still have a memory card with drifting replays saved on it from when that game came out. So epic.
I made this replay 15+ years ago and t he drifting still looks pretty damn realistic/good.

I am in California and stuffed myself with chili Verdi. So pretty good really.
Full of the sound of the Gran Fury, signifying nothing.

Not much going on these days. Still unemployed, and celebrated my birthday today. When I had a job I was planning on taking this entire week off and had everything lined up, and then they dumped me. Oh well. I’m doing a lot of cleaning and organizing, trying to get the piles of crap out of the living room so that I can actually sit back and watch a movie and maybe eat at the dining room table
I had a bunch of this LED rope light laying around, and attached it to the back of the TV to function as a back light. It’s a bit thick , but it’s what I had laying around. I tied it into a smart outlet so I can control it by voice; that outlet wasn’t working, so whilst cleaning I was able to locate it and reprogram it.

My first thought was clio V6, due to
the shape of the taillight,
but it doesn’t have any aero part on the sides of the rear window

I do mostly GT4. Complex String & Smokey Mountain are tracks that should be in GT4.

GT4 had the cars
, but the physics felt like a step backwards to me. You could rip your e brake and the car would just kinda understeer.
Granted, i watched too much Initial D as a young man.
